09.03.2012 | Looking for a senior shading/compositing artist

Hoaxland is looking for an exceptionally skilled, down-to-earth senior shading and compositing artist. The ideal candidate must be organized and creative, with the ability to solve problems efficiently.

Requirements:

- Extensive experience with texuring and lighting of cgi characters and scenery.

- Extensive compositing experience of cg and live footage.

- Experience with camera matchmoving on live footage required.

- Good feeling for color, light/shadow and image composition required.

- Good communication skills required. (Dutch or English)

- Ability to either work in a team or alone.

- Ability to deliver high quality work under tight deadline pressure.

- Experience with Lightwave 3D for texturing, lighting and rendering is a plus.

- Experience with Eyeon Fusion is a plus

TBWA asked us to create 3 funny animations and visuals for the Telenet Trakteert campaign.

The deadline was quite strict and so we got to work, determined to prove our passion and efficiency once again! You can expect a touch of humor, a bit of drama and a lot of... ACTION!

A partnership with production company Blazhoffski resulted in "Rex", a children's series full of humor that is broadcasted on VTM K-Zoom.

Each episode, a kid visits Rex in the African wilderness, trying to entertain him with funny stories and cool jokes. The ultimate goal is to make Rex smile, or else he might eat them alive...
